About The Position

At HIGH FORMAT, a division of Manthei Construction, team members mold natural materials into usable, lasting, and aesthetically pleasing landscaping products such as retaining walls and pavers, cast from molds made from real weathered stone. The company caters to the architectural landscape products industry, focusing on developing new ideas, products, systems, and technologies, as well as analyzing and improving existing ones. This role is part of a team aiming to revolutionize the industry. The Production Laborer position involves operating machinery and performing tasks in a manufacturing setting to safely craft concrete products that transform residential and commercial properties. The work environment is fast-paced, offering opportunities to develop expertise and the ability to identify and correct errors. Ideal candidates will prioritize safety, perform tasks proficiently, and understand the importance of delivering a high-quality finished product. This is a safety-sensitive position, and selected applicants must pass a drug screening.

Requirements

• Must be on your feet for long periods
• Must be able to lift objects in excess of 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Clean and prep empty molds for filling
• Operate controls on concrete pouring machinery to fill molds
• Remove excess concrete from molds for a clean finish
• Inspect for quality-related issues as it relates to the molds and forms
• Ensure products are being filled to the proper heights and cleaned thoroughly
• Clean all equipment and machines
• Learn and perform other production-related duties as needed
