About The Position

This position works with breeder servicemen to supervise and monitor hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout at the lowest possible cost. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, directing the workforce, hiring and training personnel, setting schedules, monitoring safety, and following bio-security programs. It also oversees the production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grow-out and supports a safe working environment. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations for baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite programs: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED.

• College degree in a related field.
