About The Position

Best Block, part of The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Production Laborer at its Bunnell, Florida facility. The role supports the manufacturing of concrete products through equipment operation, material handling, production setup, and work-area maintenance. The position requires following safety and quality-control procedures, wearing appropriate protective gear, and working around industrial machinery in a non-climate-controlled environment. Applicants may be required to pass a drug screen and pre-employment testing.

Requirements

Be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Have a good understanding of safety compliance.
Be comfortable working around industrial machinery.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift.
Use hand tools.
Follow safety procedures and protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
Load and unload materials and supplies.
Set up forms in the concrete-product manufacturing process.
Handle and move production materials.
Adhere to quality-control standards to help ensure high-quality concrete products.
Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management in any area.
