About The Position

Best Block, part of The QUIKRETE® Companies, LLC, has an immediate opening for a Production Laborer at its Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. The role supports concrete-product manufacturing through forklift operation, hand-tool use, material handling, production setup, and equipment and workplace upkeep. The laborer follows safety procedures and quality-control standards and may perform other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Understanding of safety compliance.
• Comfort working around industrial machinery.
• May be required to pass a drug screen and pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift.
• Use hand tools.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Load and unload materials and supplies.
• Set up forms in the concrete-product manufacturing process.
• Handle and move production materials.
• Follow quality-control standards to help ensure high-quality concrete products.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management in any area.
