About The Position

Livestock Nutrition Center, a regional feed manufacturing company, is hiring Production Laborers, including mill production operators and light equipment operators, to support mill operations. The role requires a flexible schedule and involves keeping the mill and surrounding grounds clean, completing routine preventative maintenance, assisting with repairs and projects, helping maximize mill and crew efficiency, maintaining ingredient inventory and quality, and safely operating equipment. Employees must follow company safety practices and OSHA standards and perform other operational tasks as directed by local management.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including dust and extreme heat or cold.
Ability to perform general housekeeping duties.
Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Some weekend work is required during winter months.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience.
Skid steer experience.
Front-end loader experience.
Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production.

Responsibilities

Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks.
Assist maintenance staff and contractors with repair and maintenance projects, and fulfill Project Manager requests.
Assist in maximizing mill and crew efficiency.
Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
Ensure ingredients meet LNC quality standards.
Safely and efficiently operate equipment after completing proper training.
Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
Perform other operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.
