About The Position

MKB Company is seeking a motivated, eager-to-learn Production Laborer to manufacture stormwater erosion control products. The role involves operating machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently. Candidates should have strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor control, and be able to work productively as part of a team with a focus on safety and quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including shift work.
• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Initiative in carrying out responsibilities.
• Ability to ambulate around the site.
• Enthusiasm and drive for results.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and precise fine motor control.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including potentially lifting up to 50–100 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of heavy equipment experience.
• Prior experience with hand tools.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, chain saws, and other specialized tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist the Production Lead in meeting or exceeding daily production goals.
• Set production line balance and speed.
• Load and unload large, awkwardly shaped parts into manufacturing equipment.
• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift equipment checks and maintenance.
• Keep facilities and equipment clean and maintained.
• Follow yard rules, safety regulations, and PPE requirements.
• Participate in safety briefings, job briefings, and other meetings as required by the Manager.
• Share information from team members, management, or customers.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; work nights, weekends, variable schedules, or additional hours as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
