About The Position

Livestock Nutrition Center, a regional feed manufacturing company specializing in customized livestock rations, supplements, and premixes, is seeking motivated Production Laborers, including mill production operators and light equipment operators. The role supports mill production, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, equipment operation, ingredient inventory and quality, and safe and efficient mill operations. A flexible schedule is required, and some weekends are required during winter months. All full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
Ability to repetitively lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat, or cold.
Ability to work in a team setting.
Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader experience.
Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production.

Responsibilities

Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks.
Assist maintenance staff and contractors with repair and maintenance projects, and fulfill Project Manager requests.
Help maximize the efficiency of the mill and crew.
Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
Ensure ingredient quality meets LNC standards.
Safely and efficiently operate equipment after receiving proper training.
Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
Perform other related operational processes and tasks as deemed necessary by local management.
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe working environment.
