About The Position

Livestock Nutrition Center, a regional feed manufacturing company, is hiring Production Laborers, including mill production operators and light equipment operators. The role supports mill operations by maintaining cleanliness, completing routine preventive maintenance, assisting with repairs and projects, managing ingredient inventory, meeting ingredient quality standards, and operating equipment safely and efficiently. Employees must be able to work a flexible schedule and may be required to work some weekends during winter months.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including dust and extreme heat or cold.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team setting.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience.
Skid steer experience.
Front-end loader experience.
Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production.

Responsibilities

Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventive maintenance tasks.
Assist maintenance staff and contractors with repair and maintenance projects, and fulfill Project Manager requests.
Help maximize the efficiency of the mill and crew.
Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
Ensure ingredients meet LNC quality standards.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently after receiving proper training.
Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
Perform other operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a safe working environment.
