About The Position

Works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, handling merchandise safely, quickly, and accurately as it moves into or out of the facility. The role includes removing garments from carts or lift tables, folding and bundling them, and checking them for quality issues. Work is performed in a warehouse environment and involves repetitive physical activity throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, pull, twist, kneel, and lift.
• Ability to use hands for grasping and other manipulations.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Remove coveralls, smocks, and other merchandise from carts or lift tables.
• Manually fold merchandise, stack it into bundles of various sizes, and place the bundles on a conveyor.
• Visually inspect merchandise for rips, tears, holes, and stains; segregate items that fail quality standards and report findings to the appropriate person.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and follow production best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
