This position supports the production and operations teams. The Production Floor Supervisor - Staffing will oversee daily tasks of personnel on the Production Floor and interface with department supervisors to address staffing needs in all areas of the building. This is a full-time position with daytime hours covering the duration of the production day, primarily Monday through Friday, including early and late hours as needed.
This candidate must be able to work in a dynamic setting, communicate effectively with team members, perform multiple duties, and engage in new opportunities each day.

Requirements

• Strong communication and leadership skills required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be a self-starter and self-motivated
• Must be able to manage changing priorities associated with a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to multi-task
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to withstand standing for long periods of time

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing facility preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily tasks of Production Floor personnel
• Coordinating daily Production Floor staffing needs
• Screening candidates for temporary employment
• Ensuring employees and temps complete the proper paperwork and training
• Auditing employee hours and coordinating with staffing agencies
• Updating and verifying work hours with Supervisors
• Checking labels, lot codes, and product stacking patterns
• Capable of working in various work settings of the facility including warehouse, office, and plant areas
