About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Floor Supervisor to support store leadership and represent the brand. The role helps create a welcoming, island-inspired shopping destination, supports the team in achieving store goals, and delivers a high level of guest service. The Floor Supervisor shares product knowledge and current trends while helping ensure guests have a positive experience.

The role includes maintaining merchandising and visual standards, setting performance expectations, coaching team members, supporting internal development, and hiring and onboarding employees. The position may also involve other duties necessary to support the business.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience, including exposure to retail merchandising and visual concepts.
• Experience supervising a team in a management capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a variety of styles.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Willingness and ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and visual standards to create a relaxed destination for guests.
• Determine performance expectations, provide coaching, and design internal growth programs.
• Communicate brand direction and share product knowledge about current seasonal trends.
• Hire, onboard, and develop team members to build a collaborative team and drive results.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
