About The Position

The Floor Supervisor supports the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling production activities so that goods are produced safely, cost-effectively, on time, and to company quality standards. The Floor Supervisor also serves as a backup when the Production Manager is unavailable. This is an in-person position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Manufacturing and/or construction management experience.
Ability to think critically and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
General office skills.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending or squatting, sitting at a desk, repetitive computer use, and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Create and monitor production schedules to support production.
Report material or production issues to the management team.
Train current and new employees on machines and job functions.
Assist with opening and closing the warehouse or facilities as needed.
Enforce lunch and break policies in accordance with company policies.
Conduct bi-weekly inventories of various supplies.
Manage and control raw-material and finished-product inventory through daily, weekly, and monthly counts.
Provide accurate and timely weekly and monthly inventory reports to the Operations Director.
Help ensure warehouse staff work safely, efficiently, and responsibly.
Monitor employee performance, provide employee reviews, and implement changes as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned based on experience, skills, and business needs.
