3rd Shift Production Employee
About The Position
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Production Employee to join the team. This hands-on role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping keep operations running smoothly. The Production Employee supports manufacturing and plant operations by picking and sorting metals, operating mobile equipment, maintaining equipment, and cleaning the yard. The role works closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and keep operations moving efficiently. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety are essential.
Requirements
- Understand and adhere to safety regulations.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and work for long periods of time.
- Ability to repetitively lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Be a self-motivated team player who is willing and eager to learn new skills.
Responsibilities
- Sort scrap on the picking line to upgrade it and remove nonconforming items.
- Clean spillage from conveyors using mobile equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain mobile and fixed equipment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
