About The Position

The Production Bulk Fold Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility, handling merchandise safely, quickly, and accurately as it moves into or out of the facility. The role includes staging carts in lift tables, folding linen and other merchandise, identifying items that do not meet quality standards, verifying quantities, bundling products, and placing them in designated storage locations. The operator helps maintain a safe and clean production environment. Work takes place in a warehouse with exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, dust, and noise. The position involves repetitive motions throughout the shift, prolonged standing and walking, and bending, reaching, pulling, twisting, grasping, and lifting.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout a shift and to bend, reach, pull, twist, grasp, and lift, and to stand and walk for long periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage carts in lift tables, secure safety chains, and raise the tables.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender or seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise that fails quality standards due to rips, tears, holes, or stains.
• Accurately verify merchandise quantities and bundle items by type.
• Place bundles in the correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
