About The Position

The Production Bulk Fold Operator works as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility and is responsible for safely, quickly, and accurately handling merchandise into and/or out of the facility. The role includes folding and sorting linen products, checking merchandise quality and quantities, and placing finished bundles in designated storage areas. The operator helps maintain a safe and clean production environment while following workplace best practices.

Requirements

• Ability to understand required training and written and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet the attendance schedule.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stage a cart in the lift table, secure the safety chain, and raise the table.
• Fold linen, aprons, towels, table napkins, and/or fender or seat covers.
• Identify and segregate merchandise that does not meet specified quality standards, including items with rips, tears, holes, or stains.
• Verify merchandise quantities and bundle items accurately by type.
• Place bundles in the correct storage bins, carts, or on shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty baskets.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and observe best practices in production activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
