About The Position
United Dairy Farmers is searching for full-time workers for 1st shift (5am or 6am-2:30 pm or 3:30 pm) production at our Ice Cream production facility located in Norwood, OH. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter with good attention to detail, basic math skills, logical thinker and have mechanical ability. This position does require Steel Toe Boots and Safety Glasses. Work environment can involve cooled and chilled areas. Heavy lifting and physical movements are also required. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must have dependable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Operate various equipment following all Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Willingness to learn and ability to understand the principles of manufacturing Ice Cream.
- Learn, understand and promote Safety and Quality in out manufacturing environment.
- Learn and understand set-up and usage of all equipment.
- Learn and understand equipment tear down, cleaning and sanitation procedures including Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP).
- Clear and professional communication with entire team.
- Drive the production process to ensure that the products produced meet customer specification, quality and food safety.
- Ensure production meets targets outputs through effective control of the manufacturing process.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are fully met and a positive safety culture is maintained.
