About The Position

The Production Associate loads, unloads, sorts, and distributes donated goods for processing, shipping, or storage. The role includes accepting donations and serving donors and customers, sorting and pricing merchandise, replenishing supplies, maintaining production records, and performing basic retail operations duties. The associate helps keep work areas and facilities clean, organized, and safe while following loss-prevention, inventory-control, and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• At least 6 months to 1 year of successful experience in a retail, customer-service-oriented environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp, and move continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• For positions requiring driving: valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, and ability to travel as needed when using a personal vehicle for company business.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and customers, accept donations, and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Issue donor receipts in a courteous manner.
• Handle and sort donated goods into appropriate containers.
• Load, unload, and move donated goods and materials, including furniture, using a hand truck.
• Distribute donated materials to support production workflows and shipping or storage.
• Restock materials and supplies for team members by checking workstations.
• Sort and price donated items, garments, and hard-line goods with limited supervision.
• Monitor and record production levels.
• Tag, rotate, and place products on shelves according to guidelines.
• Keep aisles and production and sales floors clear of debris and obstructions.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and facilities, including sweeping, emptying trash, and disposing of waste appropriately.
• Report possible safety hazards to a Team Leader or Manager.
• Follow loss-prevention, inventory-control, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Help safeguard team members and company property from harm, damage, or theft.
• Immediately report observed or suspected theft, fraud, violence, or unethical or inappropriate behavior through the designated channels.
