About The Position

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Production Associate for its Reno/Stead, Nevada facility. The role supports manufacturing operations for molded polystyrene products and involves inspecting, packaging, and handling materials according to production specifications. The associate operates designated packaging and recycling equipment, maintains an organized work area, and follows safety, quality, and departmental procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Working off-shift hours may be necessary, and occasional overtime may be required. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is expected. The employee must be verified by a supervisor and signed off on the procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within two months of hire.

Requirements

Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
Must be verified by a supervisor and signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within two months of hire.
Must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Must be able to use simple math, count, and use basic handheld measuring tools.
Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate assigned machinery.
Must be able to perform the essential functions satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Report to the Manager at the start of the shift for daily direction.
Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on in-process sheets.
Bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble, and/or label materials according to production instructions.
Operate side-wrappers and pallet jacks.
Operate Pre-breakers and re-grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow general safety requirements, quality system awareness requirements, and departmental procedures.
Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
