About The Position

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder Fabricator to repair and fabricate steel containers and industrial compactors. This full-time position supports the maintenance and safe, efficient operation of critical equipment. It requires a commitment to high-quality workmanship, with mandatory overtime during the busy season. The role uses maintenance tracking tools and technology to support an efficient and productive operation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques.
• Experience with hydraulics repair and metal fabrication.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb and stoop.
• High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

• At least 5 years of experience (preferred).
• Associate degree in Welding Technology (preferred).
• Welding certification (preferred).
• AWS/CWI certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding repairs on steel containers and compactors, including repairs to hydraulics, structural components, damaged walls, rusted floors, and cracked metal structures.
• Assist the lead fabricator with custom fabrication and assembly projects.
• Use torch-burning and plasma-cutting tools to prepare materials and complete repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials and components safely within the worksite.
• Monitor, document, and report work progress using maintenance tracking systems.
• Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
