About The Position

The Production Associate prepares fresh-cut produce for customers and ensures product of the highest quality is ready for the day’s runs at an acceptable productivity level. The role predominantly works the night shift and includes cutting and repacking produce to customer specifications, operating production machinery, and cleaning and sanitizing the work area. Work must follow sanitation and safety procedures for handling and production in accordance with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards.

Requirements

• Proven ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level.
• Ability to operate simple machinery.
• Able to lift boxes of produce weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to stoop and bend frequently.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and repack product according to customers’ specifications.
• Operate machinery such as potato peelers and bag sealers.
• Clean and sanitize the work area.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures for handling and production to SQF standards.
