Production Associate I 1st Shift – 4:50am-3:20pm – Mon-Thur
About The Position
The Production Associate, End Capper is responsible for safely and efficiently performing tasks related to the Consumables Department. The position is part of Pall Corporation’s Consumables department in DeLand, Florida, and is performed on-site. It offers a leadership opportunity and reports to the Production Supervisor. The role involves setting up and operating equipment to produce components, subassemblies, and final assemblies using blueprints and work instructions. The associate works under the direction of supervisors or more experienced personnel, with little supervision, and maintains accurate records and logs while collecting data for Engineering.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least two years of production or manufacturing experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 10 hours.
- Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating corrugating or pleating equipment.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, or schematics.
- Experience using scorecards or other process-tracking tools.
