About The Position
Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a Production Associate to help turn donated goods into quality merchandise for its stores. This is active, fast-paced production work in a store and processing environment, rather than a traditional retail job. The role involves staying on your feet, working with your hands, and completing work efficiently while maintaining quality. No experience is required; training is provided. Background check required.

- Curiosity about brands, vintage items, and collectibles.
- Warehouse, production, sorting, or customer service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect apparel and domestics for tears, stains, odors, and missing buttons or zippers; sort items into salable and salvage categories, then hang and tag them to meet production goals.
- Sort housewares, collectibles, electronics, and other hard goods into salable, e-commerce, and salvage categories; price items based on brand and condition, and move carts to the sales floor.
- Welcome donors, help unload vehicles, hand out receipts, and pre-sort donations into categories.
- Meet daily production goals, maintain accurate counts, and keep the work area clean and safe for the next shift.
- Help with floor running, rotating merchandise, and moving materials, and work with teammates to meet daily goals.
