About The Position

FOX News Media is seeking a motivated Production Assistant for FOX & Friends and FOX & Friends First, national cable morning shows. In this fast-paced role, you will coordinate live guests in studio and remotely, work with editors to select and prepare video, produce full segments, and support the team with flexibility and a can-do attitude. The position calls for a creative, professional team member who treats people with respect and is eager to learn and grow. The shift is Thursday through Monday, 2:30 AM to 10:30 AM ET.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study, or equivalent experience; a degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of TV news or communications experience.
• Strong communication skills, a go-getter attitude, and ability to be a team player.
• Strong digital and social media skills.
• Willingness to pitch in on additional projects as needed.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Interact with show hosts and high-profile talent.
• Manage the greenroom.
• Locate, cut, and plug video for coverage.
• Coordinate live shots with studio and field crews.
• Create research packets and write scripts and banners for segments.
• Produce content for social media platforms.
• Pitch story ideas and carry them through from start to finish.
• Respond flexibly to team needs and be willing to take on additional projects.
