Product Operations & Insights Manager

LiveRamp, Inc.•San Francisco, CA
•$159,500 - $234,500

About The Position

LiveRamp is seeking a Product Operations & Insights Manager to lead planning, goal-setting, reporting, and operating processes across Product and Engineering. The role establishes planning formats and commitment governance, runs the OKR cycle, and maintains a focus on measurable outcomes. It owns leadership and cross-functional operating rhythms, drives decisions and follow-through, and develops self-service reporting for leaders. The manager partners with Data and Analytics to turn analysis into actionable decisions, establishes cross-functional norms and tool practices, and leads the integration of AI into planning, operations, and reporting. The role also partners with TPM to standardize validated operating models, manages intake for field and executive requests, and structures how customer input—including advisory boards and early adopters—reaches product teams.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in product operations, strategy and operations, program management, or business operations at a scaled software company.
  • Experience running planning, roadmap, or OKR cycles across multiple teams.
  • Experience defining team metrics and building reporting used by non-analysts.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to build clean reports from messy sources and explain their implications to a VP.
  • Clear writing skills and the ability to turn an ambiguous problem into a one-page recommendation.
  • Ability to influence without authority and hold PMs and Engineering leads to commitments without formal control.
  • Good judgment about when structure helps and when it slows people down.
  • Fluency in Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and a BI tool.

Nice To Haves

  • SQL or Python.
  • Experience with usage-based pricing.
  • Experience applying AI to internal operations.
  • Experience in data and ad tech.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead annual and quarterly planning for Product and Engineering, including planning formats, commitment governance, and capacity tradeoffs.
  • Run the OKR cycle and establish a standard of three to five outcome metrics per team, emphasizing outcomes over outputs.
  • Own the operating rhythm, including leadership meetings, goal reviews, and cross-functional syncs; drive decisions and close follow-ups.
  • Build self-service reporting that leaders can use without an intermediary.
  • Partner with Data and Analytics to turn data into decisions and provide recommendations based on each analysis.
  • Set cross-functional norms, define rules of engagement and roles, and steward the tools used by Product and Engineering.
  • Lead AI integration into organizational planning, operations, and reporting.
  • Partner with TPM to standardize operating models after they have been validated.
  • Run intake for field and executive requests, triage requests, route validated opportunities to PMs, and close the loop.
  • Structure how customer input, including input from advisory boards and early adopters, reaches product teams.
