About The Position

Axonify is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of an intelligent, adaptive system that anticipates where frontline employees need support and recommends what they should learn and practice next. The role partners with a new engineering squad, data science, and design to bring LLM-powered and recommendation-driven capabilities from proof of concept to production and establish rigorous evaluation standards. The product lead will use customer and user research to define personas, use cases, workflows, unmet needs, and customer measures of success. They will turn findings into a prioritized roadmap, requirements, user stories, release plans, and KPIs, and deliver capabilities across administrative setup, adaptive training, and analytics that integrate with shared systems and established platform boundaries. The role owns post-launch performance and business outcomes, including adoption, engagement, retention, customer feedback, experimentation, and continuous improvement. It also works with customers and internal teams to bring external business data into the platform and define how that data is validated and used. The position calls for strong cross-functional partnership, clear organizational alignment, and contribution to product excellence through peer collaboration and informal mentorship.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in product management or related roles within a SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Ability to translate complex business and user problems into clear, actionable product strategies.
  • Technical fluency to reason with engineering about data, integrations, and recommendation systems without owning platform architecture.
  • Experience with experimentation and measurement, including distinguishing causal impact from correlation.
  • Experience building products measured by customers’ business outcomes, not just usage.
  • Ability to apply AI across the product lifecycle, from research to prototyping.
  • Experience shaping AI-powered experiences, such as recommendation or personalization systems, including quality evaluation and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams and explain data-heavy concepts to executives and customers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and a team-first mindset.
  • Candidates outside Greater Boston or commuting distance of Waterloo must be authorized to work in Canada or the United States and be based in the Eastern Time Zone or willing to adjust working hours to Eastern Time.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, or equivalent experience; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile or scrum methodologies and product tools.
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior product managers or product teams.
  • Experience in frontline or deskless workforce, learning and development, or learning science.
  • Experience with analytics, BI, or ML-driven personalization products.

  • Partner with engineering, design/UX, QA, marketing, sales, operations, and support to deliver features, coordinate product lifecycle changes, and orchestrate go-to-market launches.
  • Enable internal sales, marketing, and enablement teams to sell and support the product.
  • Own post-launch product performance and business outcomes by monitoring adoption, engagement, retention, and customer feedback and using experimentation and data-driven insights to improve the product.
  • Partner with data science to design experiments and measurement approaches that demonstrate the impact of product changes.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to bring external business data into the platform and define how it is validated and used.
  • Contribute to product excellence through peer collaboration, shared discovery, and informal mentorship as needed.
  • Manage continuous customer and user input, navigate trade-offs, and maintain transparent alignment across the organization.
