Senior Product Manager (Insights & Action)

Axonify•Waterloo, ON
•CA$129,000 - CA$179,000

About The Position

Axonify is hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of an intelligent, adaptive system that anticipates where frontline employees need support and recommends what they should learn and practice next. The role partners with a new engineering squad, data science, and design to move LLM-powered and recommendation-driven capabilities from proof of concept to production, and to establish rigorous evaluation standards. The product lead will research customer and user needs, define product strategy and roadmaps, deliver capabilities spanning administrative setup, adaptive training, and analytics, and coordinate launches with teams across the company. The role also owns post-launch performance and business outcomes, using customer feedback, experimentation, and data to improve the product. Candidates should be fluent with data, experimentation, and AI-powered products, and able to work across teams and communicate effectively with executives and customers. Axonify prefers candidates in the Greater Boston area or within commuting distance of its Waterloo, Ontario office. Other candidates are encouraged to apply if authorized to work in Canada or the United States and located in the Eastern Time Zone or willing to adjust their hours. The position may be remote or hybrid-flexible; Waterloo-area employees can attend in-person collaboration on Wednesdays.

  • Experience building products measured by customer business outcomes, not just usage.
  • Ability to apply AI across the product lifecycle, from research to prototyping.
  • Experience shaping AI-powered experiences such as recommendation or personalization systems, including quality evaluation and human-in-the-loop safeguards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence across teams and explain data-heavy concepts to executives and customers.

  • Translate research and insights into a prioritized product roadmap, requirements, user stories, release plans, and success metrics (KPIs).
  • Deliver capabilities spanning administrative setup, adaptive training delivery, and analytics, integrating with shared systems and administrative frameworks while respecting platform boundaries.
  • Partner with engineering, design/UX, QA, marketing, sales, operations, and support to deliver high-quality features, coordinate product lifecycle changes, and orchestrate go-to-market launches.
  • Enable internal sales, marketing, and enablement teams to sell and support the product.
  • Own post-launch product performance and business outcomes by defining success metrics, monitoring adoption, engagement, retention, and customer feedback, and using experimentation and data-driven insights to improve the product.
  • Partner with data science to design experiments and measurement approaches that demonstrate the impact of product changes.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to bring external business data into the platform and define how it is validated and used.
  • Contribute to product excellence through peer collaboration, shared discovery, and informal mentorship as needed.
  • Manage ongoing customer and user input, navigate trade-offs, and maintain transparent alignment across the organization.
