About The Position

Phorest is seeking an Australia-based Product Marketing Manager to provide dedicated focus to the Australian market within its Product organisation. Working alongside regional commercial teams, the role owns localizing global product launches and ensuring products have meaningful impact in Australia. The successful candidate will translate product capabilities into customer narratives that reflect how Australian salon, spa, and clinic owners work and grow their businesses. The role works during Australian business hours and connects with local customers and teams, while coordinating asynchronously with Product Marketing peers in North America, DACH, and the UK and Ireland. The position leads local launch readiness, enables Sales, Customer Success, Education, and Marketing teams, and supports sustainable regional adoption and revenue growth. There are established launch playbooks to build on, and attending local customer and industry events is optional.

Requirements

  • Typically 3 to 5 years of Product Marketing experience, or equivalent B2B or Vertical SaaS commercial experience, with a track record of taking features to market and driving adoption.
  • Demonstrated experience marketing to distinct, niche audiences or complex ecosystems where users within the same business have different motivations.
  • Practical experience across the product marketing lifecycle, including customer research, positioning, messaging, launch planning, and sales enablement.
  • Comfort using Looker or similar business intelligence dashboard tools to evaluate adoption, track funnel metrics, and assess launch performance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain value simply to technical teams and business owners.
  • Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and build practical solutions in an environment without rigid processes.
  • Ability to work during Australian business hours and coordinate asynchronously with global counterparts.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the strategic voice of the Australian customer by regularly speaking with salon, spa, and clinic owners to understand their needs, workflows, friction points, and language.
  • Own product positioning in Australia, translating global features into clear, locally relevant customer stories.
  • Partner strategically with regional Sales, Customer Success, and Education teams; gather field feedback and provide foundational talk tracks, battlecards, and objection guides.
  • Lead regional go-to-market execution for product releases, coordinating launch milestones with Product Ops and peer Product Marketing Managers.
  • Train and equip local commercial teams with client-facing materials before product features go live.
  • Test new communication formats, messaging, and delivery methods to improve engagement and adoption when standard channels are ineffective.
  • Use customer and market feedback to support regional revenue, retention, and adoption objectives.
  • Maintain productive asynchronous alignment with global teammates, with occasional overlap with European or US working hours.
