Product Marketing Manager, Emerging Formats

Future Publishing•New York, NY
•$90,000 - $120,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Future is seeking a self-starting Product Marketing Manager to explore, define, and launch commercial opportunities across multiple emerging products and formats. Opportunities may begin as early ideas, so the role involves assessing their potential, understanding customer needs, and determining what Future must build or coordinate to deliver them. The manager will oversee several opportunities at different stages, from discovery and internal scoping through validation, launch, and growth. The role sits on the Commercial Product Marketing team, which connects consumers with advertisers through commercial products, content, and proprietary technology. The manager will bring teams together, maintain progress across a varied portfolio, and create structure when the path is unclear. The position reports to the Director of Product Marketing and is hybrid, with two days working from Future’s New York office.

Requirements

  • Experience taking an early-stage product, format, or commercial opportunity from discovery through testing or launch.
  • Strong customer research skills and commercial judgment, including the ability to evaluate opportunities with incomplete information.
  • Experience scoping work across multiple teams and keeping decisions, owners, and next steps clear.
  • Strong project leadership skills and the ability to build momentum without direct authority or a fully defined process.
  • Ability to balance customer value, revenue potential, operational feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex or emerging offers easy to understand.
  • Highly autonomous and organized, with comfort moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
