Product Marketing Manager, Emerging Formats

Future Publishing•New York, NY
•Hybrid

About The Position

Future is seeking a self-starting Product Marketing Manager to explore, define, validate, and launch commercial opportunities across emerging products and formats. Opportunities may begin as early ideas, so the role requires assessing which are worth pursuing, defining customer needs, and determining what Future must build or coordinate to deliver them. The manager will oversee several opportunities at different stages, guiding each from discovery and internal scoping through validation, launch, and growth, and bringing together teams to keep work moving across the portfolio. The role is part of Future’s Commercial Product Marketing team, which connects engaged consumers with advertisers through ad products, content, and proprietary technology. It reports to the Director of Product Marketing and is hybrid, with two days working from the New York office. The expected salary range is $90,000–$120,000.

Requirements

  • Experience taking an early-stage product, format, or commercial opportunity from discovery through testing or launch.
  • Strong customer research and commercial judgment, including the ability to evaluate opportunities with incomplete information.
  • Experience scoping work across multiple teams and keeping decisions, owners, and next steps clear.
  • Strong project leadership and ability to build momentum without direct authority or a fully defined process.
  • Ability to balance customer value, revenue potential, operational feasibility, and strategic fit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex or emerging offers easy to understand.
  • Highly autonomous and organized, and comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
