Product Marketing Manager

Auquan LtdNew York, NY
$135,000 - $175,000Onsite

About The Position

Auquan is on a mission to reimagine the way we work. Today, we power workflows at the world's largest financial institutions, eliminating the repetitive manual work that slows down even the fastest-moving teams across public and private markets. Finance is ripe for AI disruption, and the time to build and deliver a massively transformative product is now. With teams quickly scaling across the globe, we’re building an elite force of innovators ready to redefine what’s possible with AI and machine learning. Our NYC headquarters is in SoHo, and we expect the GTM team to be excited to work on-site. You'll spend your time with product, sales and customer teams, digging for the valuable insights that perfect a launch or land content that resonates with buyers and drives excitement across the market. You'll work with our Head of Marketing to deliver positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and customer content. This is a great fit for someone early in their PMM career who is polished, impossibly curious, hungry to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of their work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product, marketing, communications, consulting, journalism, or a related field where you've had to research, synthesize, and write for a living.
  • An exceptional writer. You can turn a messy set of inputs into a tight, compelling narrative.
  • Curious and diligent. You’re constantly seeking "why" and you enjoy the digging as much as the writing.
  • Comfortable and credible in front of clients. You can hold your own in a customer conversation and represent the company well.
  • Proactive by nature. You don't wait for a brief or directions to be dropped in front of you.
  • Hungry and coachable. You want to grow fast, take feedback well, and are excited to build a career in product marketing at a company that's scaling quickly.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity. Early-stage, fast-moving environments energize you.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services – especially at a bank or hedge fund.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement tools (e.g., battlecards, competitive intel systems).
  • Experience supporting or running customer reference/advocacy programs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and customer teams: Sit on calls, dig into win/loss data, and build relationships with internal stakeholders so you're consistently surfacing the nuggets (objections, customer language, competitive intel, unexpected use cases) that should shape messaging, content, and launches.
  • Embed with the Product and Engineering teams: Join roadmap calls, track engineering prioritization, and deeply understand build decisions to inform what we’re pushing out into the market (and why).
  • Own high-quality written content: Anything from product one-pagers and decks to battlecards and roadmap content, blog posts, web copy, and more.
  • Support customer marketing: Help build and run case studies, testimonials, reference programs, and customer-facing campaigns that showcase outcomes and ROI.
  • Be client-facing when needed: Join customer conversations, gather stories directly from users, and represent the company with polish and credibility.
  • Help build the function: As the team levels up, you'll help shape how product marketing works at Auquan. We’re an AI-native company, and you’ll be tasked with building a PMM machine that meets the expectations of an AI-enabled marketing team.
