About The Position

Imprint is seeking its first Product Marketer to define how the company positions, launches, and grows its suite of co-branded payments products, including deposit, BNPL, and pay-by-bank. This role will develop the messaging, buyer insights, and narrative crucial for the partnerships team and founders to engage with senior brand, finance, and loyalty leaders at large companies. The Product Marketer will be responsible for building this function from the ground up and establishing the standard for how Imprint communicates its offerings. This is a highly cross-functional and visible role, requiring close collaboration with Business Development, Engineering, Design, and founders throughout the product lifecycle, from conception to launch and adoption. The ideal candidate is strategic, hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is proactive in creating market-making opportunities.

Requirements

  • Five or more years in product marketing, with experience launching products.
  • Experience in Fintech, payments, or enterprise B2B is preferred.
  • A General Manager (GM) mentality, focusing on outcomes and owning numbers.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Comfort operating autonomously as the first and only team member, building the function while executing.
  • Fluency with modern tools, including AI for research, drafting, and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to maintain high standards while operating at high velocity, shipping polished work backed by data.

  • Experience launching products rather than maintaining them.
  • Fintech, payments, or enterprise B2B background.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market strategy and execution for products or segments, including positioning, messaging, buyer research, launch, and enablement.
  • Develop product positioning and narrative, defining each product's value proposition and differentiating it from competitors.
  • Create market-making moments through strategic launches, data-driven campaigns, and differentiation initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering to influence product development, pricing, and packaging, and manage product launches and adoption.
  • Develop enablement materials such as decks, one-pagers, case studies, and talk tracks for the partnerships team and founders.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence, analyzing competitor positioning and running win/loss analyses to inform messaging and roadmap.
  • Generate proof points by collaborating with customers and the data team to translate results into verifiable market-facing data and stories.
