About The Position

Light Labs is hiring a Product Manager to own and improve capabilities in its customer-facing lab testing platform. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and translating them into a clear, high-quality product experience for consumer brands and manufacturers. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, the lab team, and customer support, and will work in person with the team in Austin, Texas. The position reports to the product lead. Within six months, the Product Manager is expected to run platform triage and releases with limited oversight, ship customer-facing changes with clear guidance for internal and external audiences, help streamline the software development lifecycle with engineering, and ensure stakeholders understand the near-term roadmap. The company describes itself as a small, founder-minded team working to improve transparency in the food system.
