About The Position

The Platform Product Manager is a key integrator of people, process, and technology for a designated business platform. The role gathers requirements from multiple stakeholder groups, translates business needs into actionable technology solutions, and ensures the platform delivers value to its users. It combines operational discipline with collaborative leadership to drive enhancements, maintain reliable operations, and support business objectives. The Platform Product Manager partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional groups to deliver initiatives, improve platform capabilities, and foster continuous improvement. The role leads and develops a team of business analysts and product owners, promoting accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. It is part of the Internal WWT IT team, which manages and supports the company's technology infrastructure and enables its strategic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in product or platform management, working with multiple stakeholders.
Experience managing complex technology platforms.
Understanding of platform architecture, SDLC, and technology integration.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and cloud or enterprise software solutions.
Knowledge of operational excellence, including incident and change management.
Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience leading and mentoring teams of analysts or product owners.
Ability to balance priorities and align scope with business goals.
Strong requirements-gathering, user-research, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business teams.
Ability to facilitate meetings and drive consensus.
Proven success setting and delivering product vision and roadmaps.
Focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
Experience tracking platform performance and business impact.

Responsibilities

Own the vision, roadmap, and delivery for a specific business platform, aligning initiatives with stakeholder requirements and business goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts and product owners; set performance expectations and support career development through coaching and feedback.
Build partnerships with business users, process owners, and IT teams, serving as the primary point of contact for platform-related needs.
Gather and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholder groups.
Conduct user feedback sessions, market research, and needs analysis to define and prioritize platform features and improvements.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver platform enhancements, new features, and operational improvements on time and within scope.
Ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability; support incident response, change management, and risk mitigation.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, development teams, and other departments to align on platform goals and progress.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and adoption of best practices; champion innovation and efficiency.
Track and report platform performance, user adoption, and business impact, ensuring the platform delivers measurable value.
Ensure platform activities adhere to internal controls, compliance standards, and cybersecurity policies.
