Product Manager
About The Position
This newly created role is the first dedicated product ownership position for an established, growth-stage UK B2B SaaS company building an HRIS payroll system from the ground up. The product is well advanced and approaching its official release. The Product Manager will take the payroll product forward, own it end to end, and shape its long-term strategy and roadmap. The role is remote, with occasional office attendance in Central or Southeast England. Applicants from across the UK may be considered, with flexibility on location. The salary is £65,000 to £75,000 basic, plus a benefits package.
Requirements
- Prior experience with HRIS systems, such as Workforce Management, HCM, or Payroll.
- Demonstrable software product management experience covering discovery, requirements, backlog ownership, and shipping releases.
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to produce specifications that others can act on independently.
Nice To Haves
- Experience moving between systems, including data migration, parallel running, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Own the payroll product end to end, including the requirements baseline, backlog, roadmap, and release plan.
- Work day to day with engineering and the internal payroll team of experts.
- Test changes personally where needed.
- Act as the product authority for the teams.
- Shape the long-term product strategy and roadmap.
