About The Position

Red Bull Digital Products & Services is seeking a Product Manager to own the video player and player SDKs for the Red Bull Streaming Platform, which powers Red Bull TV, ServusTV On and Rally.TV across mobile, web, connected TV and game consoles. The Product Manager will lead a cross-platform Player Squad and own the player vision, strategy, roadmap and quality bar across all supported platforms. The role is responsible for the end-to-end playback experience for live, linear and on-demand video, including HLS and DASH streaming, DRM, adaptive bitrate, audio and subtitle tracks, player controls and interactive features. It also owns advertising within the player, including ad insertion approaches, rendering, tracking and measurement, and works with encoding, Google Ad Manager and Ad Operations teams to align stream signaling, ad decisioning and reporting. The Product Manager will consolidate requests from the platform’s three tenants and client product teams into a prioritized backlog, coordinate delivery with engineering and design, define quality and test strategies, establish success metrics, and use playback and ad performance data to guide the roadmap. The role also manages player and advertising vendor relationships, supports SDK integrations, leads incident triage during live events, and ensures platform certification, accessibility, privacy and app-store requirements are met. This position requires close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders across Santa Monica, Salzburg and tenant teams, including communication across two time zones.
