About The Position

Anthropic is hiring a Product Manager to own Claude Marketplace as a product for partners who sell through it and customers who buy through it. The Marketplace aims to connect builders and buyers, strengthen partner relationships and growth, and improve customer activation, retention, and confidence in larger commitments. The goal is to make it a central discovery and purchasing experience for customers seeking to extend and deploy Claude.

The Product Manager will work closely with the Marketplace team, which owns partner and customer relationships and the commercial motion, while building on systems owned by other product and engineering teams. The role offers scope to define and build an experience suited to an AI-native world. It includes owning the end-to-end product experience and workflows, shaping commercial strategy and incentives with partner teams, and setting success metrics.

Requirements

• Have owned a product end to end, including its operational workflows, and been accountable for its outcomes.
• Have built with or shipped on top of large language models and used them to improve a product experience.
• Have led cross-functional work involving teams that mostly did not report to you, and earned their trust quickly.
• Be able to present to executives at partner companies and represent Anthropic effectively.
• Write clearly enough for engineers, executives, and external partners to understand the tradeoffs being made.
• Care about Anthropic’s mission and building an ecosystem in which companies that build on Claude grow along with it.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
• Required field of study: a field relevant to the role, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Active experience in a marketplace, app store, or partner ecosystem, on either the platform or partner side.
• Experience taking a product from zero to one while working out its users, product, and economics.
• Go-to-market instincts, including understanding co-sell motions, partner programs, and platform economics in enterprise software.
• Experience with or familiarity with high-growth AI-native companies, including their business models and growth vectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the Marketplace product end to end for partners and customers, from onboarding and listing through purchase and billing.
• Design scalable Marketplace commercial workflows from first principles that meet partners’ and customers’ finance, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Shape business strategy and commercial incentives with Business Development, Finance, and Legal, and implement them in the product.
• Serve as the product voice for partners and translate signals from partners, customers, and the field into a roadmap.
• Define Marketplace success metrics and how they are measured.
