About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a Product Designer for the Claude Developer Platform. Design at Anthropic combines craft, research, and product intuition to shape how people experience AI. Designers work closely with engineers and researchers on products used by millions, often developing interactions without established conventions and designing around emerging model capabilities. The role calls for rapid prototyping, comfort with ambiguity, strong attention to visual and interaction details, and a willingness to ship early and iterate. The designer will help define product vision and strategy, understand product architecture, develop primitives for new capabilities, and craft polished interfaces that build trust in AI technology. The position is hybrid: staff are currently expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time, though some roles may require more. Minimum education is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience, in a field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience. Years of experience required will correlate with internal job-level requirements. The annual salary range is $305,000–$385,000 USD. Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. The company offers competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration.
