Product Manager, Marketplace Supply

nitra•New York, NY
•$120,000 - $180,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Nitra is hiring its first Product Manager dedicated to the supply side of NitraMart. The role owns the systems and processes that move products from vendors onto the marketplace and into medical practices’ hands, including vendor onboarding and tools, inventory data, shipping and fulfillment rules, returns, catalog data quality, and compliance checks governing who can buy what. This is a hands-on product role in a regulated, operationally complex environment. The Product Manager works closely with an engineering team in Taiwan and US Operations, Merchandising, Sales, and Marketing teams. Nitra follows a hybrid work policy: employees work from the office four days per week, with Wednesdays designated as a work-from-home day. The role requires willingness to overlap with Taiwan working hours. The position is full-time, with a base salary range of $120,000–$180,000 plus equity and benefits. Nitra offers health, vision, and dental insurance options and an employer 401(k) match.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of product management experience, including experience with a marketplace, e-commerce, distribution, or supply chain product.
  • Experience with catalog or product data, such as PIM, product feeds, or taxonomy, and with vendor or supplier integrations.
  • Comfort solving operationally complex problems involving differing policies, edge cases, and partner requirements.
  • Strong written communication and ability to write specifications that an offshore engineering team can implement without a meeting.
  • Analytical skills, including the ability to obtain and analyze data independently and turn it into decisions.
  • Willingness to overlap with Taiwan working hours.

  • Own the roadmap for vendor tooling, beginning with the internal product administration portal and expanding to a self-serve portal for external vendors.
  • Build live vendor inventory and backorder feeds so practices see accurate availability before ordering.
  • Define order routing, vendor-specific shipping rules, and return and cancellation flows across vendors with differing policies.
  • Improve catalog data quality, including units of measure, product variants and equivalents, categories, and product content.
  • Own compliance gating, including license verification, prescription application and approval flows, and state-level product restrictions.
  • Establish vendor performance tracking for fill rate, out-of-stocks, return rate, and fulfillment time, and use the results to inform decisions.
  • Write clear PRDs, prioritize work with engineering, and keep projects moving across time zones.
  • Partner with Operations and Merchandising, which determine what is sold and at what price, to build the tools and data that support those decisions.
