About The Position

The Product Integration Technician position at Velocity works out of our world-class Enterprise Solutions Repair and Logistics Facility. This position configures, processes, and packages network, television, and phones devices; as well as documents any and all activities performed while handling these devices. A high degree of personal responsibility and commitment to quality and excellence is required for the position. The position also provides technical and operational assistance to clients, customers, and to our customer support facility. The shift for this opportunity is : M-F 10:30am-7pm and rotational Saturdays. Training for this role will be on 1st shift. After you successfully complete training, you will work your appropriate shift.

Requirements

  • Intermediate level of computer and electronics skills.
  • Functional ability to use tools and calibration instruments.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and other basic software.
  • Clear and concise note taking ability.
  • Ability to contribute to the team while completing individual tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Possess independent work skills and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Ability to remain composed in stressful situations.
  • Critical thinking skills to assist in problem solving.
  • Flexible in daily duties to contribute to the Company’s over-all goals.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with fellow co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, process, and package network, television, and phone devices with a high degree of quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Keep to a strict and high-pace schedule and meet all deadlines for shipment of devices.
  • Follow specific best practices to configure and process devices properly.
  • Ability to understand and develop technical information.
  • Maintain a world-class level of quality for all configuration and processing efforts while constantly striving for the highest level of efficiency and speed.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
  • Follow and be an active participant in an accurate inventory control program.
  • Provide technical assistance to customer support.
  • Keep workstation and area clean and organized.
  • Able to be cross-trained and flexible in regards to responsibilities and competencies.
