Product Growth Manager

ParamountNashville, TN
$98,400 - $147,600

About The Position

CBS Sports Digital is looking for a Product Growth Manager to own growth on the CBS Sports app. You'll sit on the app product team and carry your own roadmap alongside feature work. The job is to make sure what we build gets found, adopted, and kept. That means owning the parts of the product where growth actually happens: onboarding, activation, how users discover new features, and the store listing as a conversion surface. It also means owning the acquisition spend pointed at the app and the instrumentation that tells us whether any of it worked. You'll be measured on install volume, install quality, feature adoption, and retention. You should be comfortable in a standup and comfortable in a spreadsheet. You think in funnels, you ship experiments, and you can tell the difference between a number that moved and a number that matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in growth product management, product growth, or mobile growth.
  • Experience owning a growth funnel end to end, including shipping changes to a live product.
  • Hands-on experience running paid user acquisition (Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, or similar).
  • Fluency with app metrics: installs, CAC and LTV, activation, adoption, retention, and cohort analysis.
  • Experience running A/B tests and making calls off the results.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience embedded on a product and engineering team in an Agile environment.
  • Background in sports, streaming, media, or consumer subscription apps.
  • Familiarity with ASO and app store editorial and featuring processes.
  • Experience with product analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel), attribution (AppsFlyer, Branch, Adjust), and lifecycle tools (Braze, Iterable, Airship).
  • A real interest in sports and how the sports calendar shapes fan behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Own a growth roadmap for the CBS Sports app, scoped and prioritized alongside feature work.
  • Own onboarding, activation, and in-product feature discovery, from problem definition through shipped changes.
  • Own the app store listing as a conversion surface, including testing, positioning, and editorial pitches for featuring.
  • Own paid acquisition for the app, optimizing toward high-LTV users and aligning spend to the roadmap and the sports calendar.
  • Define the growth instrumentation and reporting the product team runs on. Monitor installs, adoption, engagement, retention, and funnel performance, and act on what you see.
  • Run experiments with clear hypotheses and readable results. Kill what doesn't work.
  • Sequence releases against tentpole windows so launches land when fan demand is highest.
  • Test new acquisition channels and fold the ones that work into a single growth approach.
  • Work with brand, creative, and lifecycle teams so what ships in-product and what runs outside it say the same thing.
