About The Position

Trimble is hiring a Product Designer to shape the product experience across Document Crunch, its AI-powered contract intelligence platform for the construction industry. The role influences how construction teams interact with and benefit from the platform, helping make complex documents and workflows more intuitive. The designer will contribute from concept through launch, collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead discovery and validation, and help improve the design system and practices. The role is based in Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX, with minimal travel.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing applications, with a strong focus on B2B products.
• A track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products or platforms, supported by a portfolio demonstrating expertise in solving complex UX challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance user experience, style, and practical considerations.
• Expert proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies, with adaptability to new approaches.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with engineering, product management, and leadership on strategy and approach.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of and experience with AI tools and user experiences.
• Experience designing for construction technology, document processing, or enterprise software.
• Deep familiarity with AI-driven product experiences and emerging interaction patterns.
• Previous involvement in building or scaling a design system from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Shape product solutions across all product areas from concept to launch, owning design deliverables that support customer success, including first-time experience flows and complex workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional partners to integrate UX into the core platform and communicate designs clearly through implementation.
• Lead user discovery and design validation with stakeholders, translating complex workflows into intuitive experiences that address real-world challenges.
• Improve the Document Crunch design system and design practices to support high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
• Apply modern AI to industry workflows and problems, identifying patterns and techniques for designing in this evolving area.
