About The Position

Mutiny is seeking an early-career, high-potential designer to help define the experience and product language for its agentic go-to-market platform. This is a founding staff design role in an evolving product category, focused on creating AI-native GTM software that is useful, polished, intuitive, and capable of producing work revenue teams are proud to share with customers. The designer will help shape interaction models, creative standards, feedback loops, reusable systems, and the quality bar for AI-generated output. The role involves designing product surfaces and flows for creating assets, reviewing and editing AI-generated work, managing brand guidance, and helping users move from an idea to finished work. The designer will improve visual quality across layouts, hierarchy, typography, spacing, empty states, generated assets, and other details; help develop reusable components and patterns; and explore new interactions for agents, generated content, flexible canvases, and experiences that adapt to user preferences. The work is done closely with senior design, product, and engineering, and is expected to ship. Mutiny works in person in New York City five days a week. The environment is fast-moving, with rapid collaboration among design, engineering, founders, and customers. The role suits someone who makes sound decisions amid ambiguity, has strong product instincts, shares work early, responds constructively to feedback, and is eager to learn and improve.

Requirements

  • Early-career designer; may be a new graduate or have a few years of experience.
  • Learns unusually fast, cares deeply about the work, and demonstrates potential to become excellent.
  • Can make reasonable decisions and progress without perfect information or a fully defined path.
  • Has strong product instincts and cares about how products work as well as how they look.
  • Able to identify confusing flows, generic AI output, overloaded screens, and meaningful details.
  • Shows work early, takes feedback seriously, and improves it; open to coaching and challenge.
  • Energized by a fast pace and able to work in person in New York City five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Design product surfaces and flows for creating assets, reviewing AI output, editing generated work, and managing brand guidance.
  • Help users move from an idea to finished work faster.
  • Improve product visual quality, including layouts, hierarchy, typography, spacing, empty states, generated assets, and interaction details.
  • Help build reusable components and patterns that support product development without creating inconsistency.
  • Explore interaction patterns for agents, generated content, flexible canvases, and experiences that learn from user preferences over time.
  • Collaborate closely with senior design, product, and engineering; deliver work that ships.
  • Help define the product’s interaction model, creative standards, feedback loops, system, and taste bar for agent-produced work.
