About The Position

The D&IT Product Delivery Manager in Corning’s Delivery Excellence Office (DEO) turns product direction into coordinated, production-ready delivery across one or more products and platforms. The role partners with Product Managers and Product Owners, who retain responsibility for business priorities and acceptance decisions, to align teams, dependencies, controls, and release readiness and deliver measurable outcomes in a complex global environment. As Digital & IT shifts from a project-based model to one that supports both projects and products, the manager applies DEO delivery discipline to iterative product delivery, helping teams deliver value sooner, learn from results, and sustain outcomes over time. The position combines technical product delivery expertise, end-to-end release leadership, cross-functional coordination, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience with tools such as Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or AgilePlace.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, architects, and engineering leads on technical roadmaps, platform and integration dependencies, non-functional requirements, technical debt, and build/buy/configure trade-offs; translate these into release sequencing, readiness criteria, and decision options while preserving product leaders’ accountability for vision, prioritization, and business value.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery for assigned products and platforms, turning roadmaps and prioritized backlogs into transparent, achievable release plans aligned with customer needs and enterprise commitments.
  • Manage delivery cadence, release sequencing, capacity, milestones, and cross-product dependencies.
  • Facilitate planning, review, and readiness forums; remove impediments; and coordinate business, architecture, engineering, security, quality, compliance, finance, vendor, and operations partners to resolve constraints and assure integrated delivery.
  • Embed controls and lead release readiness, including testing, approvals, compliance evidence, cutover, support handoff, and documented Go/No-Go decisions.
