About The Position
Dell Technologies is hiring an Outside Sales Product Specialist on its Product and Solutions Sales Specialist Team. The specialist is an expert in a defined portfolio of products and services and provides technical advice to the sales organization during the sales process. The role directly advises customers on product features, configurations, pricing, and availability. The specialist proactively identifies and solves customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell products and services. The role works with senior technical personnel and decision makers, demonstrates how products and services can advance customer business objectives, and provides insight into the applicability of complex offerings. It also serves as a technical resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed its objectives.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of technical products, vendors, and families of technologies.
- Excellent understanding of product configurations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills for communicating with customers, support personnel, and leadership.
- High level of collaboration with colleagues and partners to attain strong customer outcomes and satisfaction.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a relationship-selling role.
- Bachelor’s degree.
