About The Position

Caraluzzi's Markets is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Produce Associate to receive, stock, merchandise, and maintain fresh produce while providing excellent customer service and ensuring product quality. The position supports the Produce Department by maintaining attractive displays and fresh products and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role includes receiving and organizing deliveries, replenishing and rotating inventory, inspecting products, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, and assisting customers. The associate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform regular physical tasks, and work in refrigerated areas. Availability for early morning shifts beginning at 5:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed, is required. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be available for early morning shifts beginning at 5:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to lift, move, and organize products in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and support team members.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment, including refrigerated areas.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in produce, grocery, retail, food service, or customer service.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and organize fresh produce deliveries.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise fruits and vegetables according to company standards.
Maintain fresh, attractive, and well-organized produce displays.
Inspect products for quality, freshness, and proper rotation.
Assist customers by providing friendly service and answering product-related questions.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards throughout the department.
Support daily department operations, including replenishment and inventory organization.
Work efficiently and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
