About The Position

This role is part of our evergreen pipeline, meaning there may not be an immediate opening. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, or packaging with a focus on price, quality, logistics, reliability, and supply continuity. You will be accountable for research, negotiations, master data analysis, transactional execution, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration to support procurement excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two or more years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, commodity trade, or finance roles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking and critical problem‑solving skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, or packaging in alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and apply an understanding of market dynamics, cost drivers, and logistics.
  • Develop and apply an understanding of company facilities, requirements, capabilities, processes, and constraints.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and multiple cross‑functional teams.
  • Release requests for proposal, negotiate contracts, and execute agreements aligned to category strategies.
  • Provide research and analytical support for procurement initiatives and ad hoc projects.
  • Support business process improvements and documentation efforts.
  • Manage procurement master data and transactional processes within enterprise systems.
  • Develop an understanding of material requirements planning processes and supporting data.
  • Drive digital adoption by learning, applying, and continuously improving procurement tools and analytics to increase efficiency and decision quality.
  • Collaborate with other business functions to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain reports to support procurement performance and decision making.
