Procurement Project Analyst (Contract)

Novelis North America HQ•Atlanta, GA

About The Position

Novelis is seeking a Procurement Project Analyst for a long-term contract assignment anticipated to run from December 2026 through March 2027. The role analyzes supplier and Novelis operational data to identify total cost of ownership opportunities, support cost savings initiatives, and advance Vision 3x30 ROIC objectives. It involves evaluating plant data, conducting technical benchmarking, developing should-cost models for key and critical suppliers, and managing supplier quality KPI reporting to support risk mitigation and continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing procurement environment. The analyst gathers and connects information from internal and external sources, including ERP systems, ETQ, data lake sources, supplier inputs, and plant-level operational information. The role independently conducts detailed analysis, develops and validates technical models, produces dashboards and reports, and recommends data-supported actions. It does not have final authority over supplier selection, commercial commitments, or budget approval, but provides analytical input to procurement, operations, and leadership decisions. The position reports to the Project Manager, Senior Manager for NNA Procurement, and collaborates with procurement, operations, plant teams, leadership, data and analytics partners, suppliers, and external benchmarking sources. The analyst also supports development of RFAs and leadership presentations. The position is based in Novelis’ Atlanta corporate headquarters location; the posting does not specify whether the work is onsite, hybrid, or remote.
