About The Position

European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) GmbH is a joint venture between TSMC, Bosch, Infineon, and NXP, establishing a semiconductor fab in Dresden. The Process Engineer will help establish, sustain, and continuously improve advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. The role uses technical expertise, data-driven analysis, and structured problem-solving to optimize manufacturing performance and support stable high-volume production, including tool performance, uptime, and defect reduction. The position supports a high-volume, 24/7 fab and requires openness to scheduled and occasional shift work, including evening shifts, weekend support, on-duty, and on-call responsibilities as needed. Following brief onboarding in Dresden, the employee will travel to Taiwan for approximately one year of on-the-job training, including theoretical instruction at TSMC’s Newcomer Training Center in Taichung and hands-on training with engineering teams. The role is planned to start in Dresden on April 1, 2027; the timeline is not flexible due to travel arrangements.
