At Bank of America, the Process Design Consultant I designs, develops or improves, and deploys processes and procedures to support objectives within one or more lines of business. The role leads projects through successful deployment in support of long-term strategic goals and integrates new solutions with existing processes to promote continuity and consistency. It develops and manages low- to medium-complexity project plans and may manage an initiative end to end or contribute as a stakeholder in a broader initiative. The consultant is accountable for initiative outcomes, which may be measured through productivity, customer or associate satisfaction, risk mitigation, process improvement, or other defined measures of success. The role partners with Business Controls, Risk, subject matter experts, and other line-of-business stakeholders. It ensures solutions align with business objectives and the line of business’s risk culture, identifies risks and mitigations with project partners, and supports compliance with line-of-business and Enterprise Change Management governance and processes. The position primarily supports Consumer Lending processes but may support other products or processes as needed. The work includes analyzing existing processes, designing and implementing improvements, developing requirements for technology-based projects, and managing deployments to address evolving compliance and risk policy requirements. Bank of America describes an in-office culture supporting collaboration, engagement, and career development, with role-specific flexibility based on responsibilities and business needs. This role is based at one of the listed locations in Farmington, Connecticut; Belfast, Maine; or Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a first-shift position with 40 hours per week. The annual pay range is $79,200 to $107,100, with offers based on experience, education, and skill set.
