At Bank of America, the Process Design Consultant is a critical role engaging cross-functional stakeholders to ensure processes and procedures within Consumer and Small Business Lending are accurately documented in support of responsible business growth. The role provides exposure to executive leaders across multiple Consumer Lending products and suits someone who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. It collaborates across lines of business to assess impacts from policy, process, system, and regulatory changes, while maintaining procedural content and supporting strategic initiatives that improve operational effectiveness and documentation quality. The role serves as the primary contact for assigned procedure portfolios, partnering with process owners, subject matter experts, risk partners, project managers, and business leaders to gather feedback and validate content. It assesses procedure quality, usability, consistency, and compliance with approved templates and writing standards; coordinates content updates, retirements, consolidations, and development; and completes reviews, approvals, and feedback sessions to support accuracy, alignment, and publishing deadlines. It also assesses the procedural impacts of policy, regulatory, operational, and system changes and identifies opportunities to simplify procedures and improve the end-user experience. This is a first-shift role with 40 hours per week. The posting lists locations in Westlake Village, California; Farmington, Connecticut; Belfast, Maine; and Richmond, Virginia. Bank of America describes an in-office culture with role-specific flexibility. The annual salary range is $79,200 to $107,100, with offers determined by experience, education, and skill set. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits, including paid time off.
